Our Pupil Voice

Representatives are elected by their peers (usually two children per class) to represent the many different committees and clubs we have at Roseberry. Representatives put forward the views of the children and raise issues with Committee Staff members and the Governors of our school.

Our School Representatives put forward new initiatives and projects and participate in Governing Body meetings and the appointing of staff.

Currently, our School Representatives have contributed to the improvement of our school toilets and playgrounds, including adventure play areas. They have been involved in gardening projects, ECO initiatives (including Solar Schools), making our school ‘Rights Respecting’ and more recently, working together to ensure that children fully understand the risks associated with Internet use.

School Representatives are responsible for planning of our themed school discos – ticket sales, refreshments, games, advertisement and music.
